Sharlane Conner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dean College where she earned her degree in Dance. She studied at the Ailey School's Professional Division Summer Intensive and Independent Study programs. Sharlane is an experienced teacher and choreographer; her work has been seen at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, The Cunningham Studios, and The Ailey Citigroup Theatre. She is currently a member of Sekou McMiller's Repertory Company and is excited to be working with Rhythm Knights Dance Troupe!

 Devon Smith grew up training in New Hampshire under the direction of Melissa Hoffman. She was then invited to train at the Alvin Ailey Summer intensive. She followed her love of dance to the open seas traveling the world with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on some of the biggest cruise ships in the world. She continues to work with Royal Caribbean as one of their Rehearsal Choreographers. Soon after moving to NYC in 2008 she began dancing with MORPH dance company under the direction of Derek Mitchell. Her latest projects include dancing and choreographing for recording artist, Britt Nicole, on the Revolve tour and dancing in Sylvia Tosun's new music video, "World Keeps Turning" under the direction of Mike Ruiz. Devon is thrilled to be back again this year with Rhythm Knights Dance Troupe. Funquita lives on!

 Kimberly Venable is glad to be a part of Rhythm knights dance troupe. She has recently toured Australia, Asia, Mexico and Europe as a dancer with Feld Entertainment. She previously worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL as a dancer in parades and shows. Other credits include: The Producers, 42nd Street, Pajama Game, Once Upon a Mattress, Alice in Wonderland and Nutcracker with The Russian Moscow Ballet. Kimberly was a member of the U.S. Dance team performing in Reisa, Germany and won 1st runner-up at the International Dance Championships. 


 Christopher J. Anderson is a recent transplant to NY via Seattle. Christopher not only sings, dances, acts and plays woodwinds, but also holds a Doctorate and works in Clinical Research by day. Christopher is a member of NY Gay Mens Chorus and LGBAC Symphonic and Marching bands. Past credits: Aida, La Cage Aux Folles (Village Theater), A Chorus Line, Schoolhouse Rock Live, Into the Woods (Repertory Actors Theater), Damn Yankees, Joseph and the Amazing ... (Civic Light Opera) in addition to the glitzy shows of Las Vegas. Love to the Marc Chilinka Anderson clan and Sweetwater! Enjoy the show.

 Justin Sherwood trained in London, England at The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. mr. sherwood is pleased to be working with rhythm knights dance troupe in ssshh! Justin dances with the metropolitan opera.

 Andrew Sotomayor is thrilled to be making his debut performance with the Rhythm Knights Dance Troupe in The Fresh Fruit Festival. Andrew has performed in shows different as Hedwig and The Angry inch, Kiss Me Kate, Othello, and The Big Gay Sing by The New York City Gay Men's Chorus. An original member of The Train to Kill Gospel Choir led by Our Lady J, he has regularly sung in her shows including "Gospel For The Godless", "Sunshine and Silicone", and the annual "Gospel of Dolly" at Joe's Pub. Special thanks to Christopher for this opportunity and for sharing his inspiration.
