CHRISTOPHER J. ANDERSON

Originally from Detroit, Christopher is a multi-talented individual who came to the Puget Sound area from Nevada where he graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno.  Now, a resident of the New York area, he is loving the artistic opportunities he has been awarded here.  Along with working in clinical research as a Doctor of Science (ScD), he was a 10-year member of the Seattle Mens Chorus and an All-star MVP shortstop with Seattle's Emerald City Softball Association.  Here in New York he is a member of the New York City Gay Mens Chorus, the Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corps Symphonic and Marching Bands and an infielder in the DIMA division of New York's Big Apple Softball League.  In addition to Christopher's academic, dance, vocal and athletic involvements, he also plays oboe, clarinet and alto saxophone.  Oh ... go ahead and throw a little bit of piano in there too.  He choreographed Anthony Fusco's Confession of a Bad Boy and will next be seen in Mr. Fusco's Crossing Verrazano at the Strawberry One Act Festival.

Christopher taught Jazz Dance at the University of Nevada, Reno, Spectrum Dance and has also worked with the Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham and Lula Washington Ensembles through scholarshipped summer workshops. Past credits include both choreographing and/or performing works such as AIDA, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Music Man, La Cage aux Folles, Annie Get Your Gun, South Pacific, 10 Naked Men, Damn Yankees, A Chorus Line, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Billy Budd with the Seattle Opera as well as the glitzy and glamorous shows of Las Vegas and Reno.

Christopher has had the EXTREME pleasure of performing, meeting and/or working with artistic greats such as Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Nell Carter, Megan Mullaly, Melissa Manchester, Kristine W, Alyson, Ann Wilson and Debbie Reynolds.

In this production, Christopher participates as the choreographer, costume designer, digital music editor, stage "set", website design and creation, advertising manager and ... oh - umm ... dancer.

He hopes you enjoy this production as much as he enjoyed creating it.

So very appreciative of the everlasting support from Miss Price, Vovrie, D. Futz, Schnekkin, Teal, MiraOnTheWall and Booty Swee.
